36 weeks

i went to the doctor today and everything was great. blood pressure was normal (again) and jake's heartbeat was 145 (he's calmed down some). jake measured at 35 weeks, so he's measuring a little small, but that's fine with me (easier to push out when the time comes, right?!). this doctor wasn't that worried that jake isn't "head down" yet. he said at the next visit is when we'll worry about that one. i go to the doctor every week from now on and can't believe there's only 3 more appointments until jake gets here. how exciting!?

jake's room is almost finished. we still have a few things to hang on the wall and i need to paint his letters. hopefully, all this will be done this weekend....which is actually a very busy one. i have a baby shower on saturday in anderson and then have my friend's lingerie shower later that same afternoon. then on sunday, i'm hosting a bridal shower for her at my house. i'm just glad i'm keeping busy. it keeps my mind off worrying about the little things and makes time go by faster. i'll be sure to post pictures of jake's room when it's finished and i'll get a picture of me (ugh) up here soon too.
