i hope that you and your family had a wonderful christmas. i know we did. we started off on the saturday before christmas celebrating with grandma betsy and pa (my dad's parents). we got to stay the whole day for a change, which was nice. we ate a yummy lunch and sang lots of songs around the christmas tree. on christmas eve, our first stop was billy and robin's house (josh's parents). we opened presents there. from there we went to grandma couch's (josh's grandma) for lunch and laughed a lot at matt and dustin's silly jokes and you tube videos. jake took a nice long nap on lauren (josh's cousin). then it was time to travel again back to greer to my grandma fiske's house. we ate spaghetti (it's the best in the world) and opened presents around the tree. this is the first year that josh and i have missed going to grandma's church for the candlelight service. but all you moms who "try" to keep your baby on a schedule know that staying out that late is not a good thing. then, christmas morning i wake up and look out the window. no snow. bummer, but still excited about jake's first christmas. so my parents came over for breakfast/brunch and stayed until a little after lunch time. during that time, it started to snow. josh's mom and dad came too!! (they braved the weather) it was the perfect white christmas for all of us!!!
