sharing with a bird

while playing outside, the following conversation took place:

jake: "wook ma-ma, a bird!" (the bird was near his kick ball and soccer ball)

mama: i see the bird. i think the bird wants to play with your balls. can you share your balls with the bird? tell the bird you are going to share your balls with him.

jake: *sweetly says "okay bird...i 'hare.....(feelings change) wait! no mama! jake's ball! *shouts "go 'way bird! shoo bird, go 'way bird!" *proceeds to clap his hands loudly and run towards the bird continuing to shout "go 'way"

HILARIOUS!!! however, i still think we need to work on sharing. and......the bird kept coming back and jake would say "bird back mama......shoo bird, go 'way." poor bird. guess there's no sharing with the bird after all.
