they make me laugh

both jake and josh have been saying the funniest things lately.  they sure do keep me laughing!

while playing outside one evening, this conversation took place::
jake: mommy, you get a turn next.
mommy: ok. thanks buddy! (i squeeze my big booty on the little-bitty slide. it's a tight fit.....funny, i know!)
jake: ready mommy? one two, tree! (he pushes me)
mommy: weeeeee! (i didn't slide very fast due to being kind of "stuck")
jake: ummm, mommy? you need a bigger swide.  dis swide is little for jake.  you need a big swide because you are big.
mommy: BAHAHAHAAAAAA!

while watching the gamecocks play, this conversation took place::
me: do football players wear cups?
josh: no.
me: what!?!  football is a contact sport. shouldn't they protect themselves?
josh: this makes me think of when i played baseball.  i was on the pitchers mound and the hitter hit the ball back. wham! the ball hit me you know where.  it cracked my cup! i remember looking down at my cup and telling it thank you!
me: (laughing uncontrollably!!!!)

while eating breakfast, this conversation took place::
mommy: jake, would you like some of my breakfast?
jake: yes, pwease. (he tries my eggs)
jake: mommy, dis is toooo hot.  did you put dis in da oven? don't do dat again!
mommy: (chuckling)
